Figure 11 Kerb

When it comes to constructing roads and paved areas, kerbs will always be a part of construction planning, allowing for quality edges that promote rainwater drainage to avoid the inconvenience or potential danger of pools of standing water. Kerbs also add a professional finish to a paved area or road, acting as a border that can be mountable to ensure that vehicles can mount the kerb face with ease.

We Sell Kerbs

When it comes to constructing roads and paved areas, kerbs will always be a part of construction planning, allowing for quality edges that promote rainwater drainage to avoid the inconvenience or potential danger of pools of standing water. Kerbs also add a professional finish to a paved area or road, acting as a border that can be mountable to ensure that vehicles can mount the kerb face with ease.

Barrier kerbs, on the other hand, are not intended to be mounted and they act as a stopping border instead. Various designs of kerbs allow for various functions, along with whatever aesthetic quality is sought for a residential project to give the customer exactly what they require. At MVA Bricks, we offer a wide selection of concrete kerbs to ensure that you can get the ideal kerb for your next kerbing project, with both mountable and barrier designs to choose from. Today, we will be focusing on a smaller garden kerb, our very own Figure 11 kerb, and how you can use this kerb in your garden or lawn to give it that professional touch.

The Figure 11 kerb has a rectangular design, which makes it a barrier kerb, perfect for outlining garden paths and walkways in parks, residential lawns, or public event venues. Garden walkways are popular due to the aesthetic value they add to gardens, giving people a special path to walk through a garden as opposed to trampling the perfect grass or stepping into a flower bed by accident. The Figure 11 kerb is the ideal garden kerb for outlining these walkways, featuring a standardised, tall rectangular shape with rounded edges to give your walkway a professional outline. The Figure 11 kerb is 150 mm tall and 75 mm wide, with a choice between 1000 mm or 330 mm lengths per block. The 1000-mm block weighs in at 27 kg per block and ships at 48 blocks per pallet, while the 330-mm variant weighs 9 kg per block and ships at 144 blocks per pallet. MVA Bricks also offers other barrier kerb designs to choose from, as well as a host of mountable kerbs to fit in almost any environment.
